This Baked Sesame Chicken with Honey Sauce is a perfect mid-week, quick from oven-to-table meal that not only tastes pretty amazing, but is baked and not fried.
Preheat oven to 425°F. In a bowl whisk the egg white until a little frothy.
Add the chicken, soy sauce, Chinese Five Spice and white pepper. Mix to evenly coat and marinate for 10 minutes.
Shake off excess marinade and roll chicken pieces in the in rice flour, this will get sticky. Next coat with the sesame seeds. Spread pieces out on a baking sheet coated with vegetable spray. Bake for 18 minutes.
In a small bowl whisk together the honey, lemon juice, oyster and soy sauce. Set aside.
When chicken have finished baking, allow to cool for 5 minutes. Toss the chicken pieces in the bowl with the sauce and serve. Pour any reserved sauce on top and enjoy with steamed rice.
