This has to be the easiest apple crisp recipe! Made using peeled Granny Smith apples, this has a crunchy, buttery cinnamon topping using basic pantry items.
Servings: 8 servings
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8 Granny Smith apples
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400˚F.

In a mixing bowl beat the flour, sugar, oats, egg, baking powder and vanilla until it becomes a crumbled mixture.
Sprinkle this mixture over the apples, not covering completely, leaving breathing pockets here and there.
Melt the butter, drizzle over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 40 minutes.
