These grilled Sesame Salmon Kabobs are easy to make with red onions, bell peppers and a sauce made of sesame oil, soy sauce with crushed garlic and ginger.
First soak some wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes so they don't burn on the grill or use metal if you have them.
Chop and crush the garlic and fresh ginger in to a paste or in the small container of a food processor. Mix it with the sesame oil and soy sauce and allow to rest as you cut up the salmon and assemble the kabobs.
Take a salmon filet and cut into one inch cubes. Toss to coat in the sesame ginger marinade and set a side for 15 minutes.
Slice and quarter a red onion. Cut the red and green bell pepper into small chunk pieces and thread the skewers with the vegetables and salmon.
Get your grill nice and hot. Brush it clean and oil it so the salmon skewers don't stick. Grill on each side for 2 minutes each.
Serve with steamed farro or barley. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top and serve.
